When I connect with all of my wonderful psychic, intuitive, creative, gifted entrepreneur clients and friends around the world, I’ve noticed one challenge comes up more than any other (it’s something I still struggle with myself).
We are afraid of “sales” “selling” and anything that has anything to do with accepting money (it gets worse if we are paid huge amounts)…
We’re terrified we’re charging too much and we worry what “people” will say if we raise our prices.
We wonder if we should sell at all!
So here’s a little manifesto that I wrote for myself a while back and it’s a message that came through as a “divine download” in one shining sweep 🙂
I didn’t plan to share but I’ve seen so many amazing healers and gifted spiritual entrepreneurs undercharge or give their services and products away for free because of our collective fear of selling!
So if you’re afraid to sell, you’re afraid to charge, you feel resistance come up when you have to talk about money with a potential client…
My hope and my wish is that these words serve you.
A MANIFESTO ON SELLING
Selling is love. Selling is healing.
Selling is a beautiful act of contribution. An exchange of energy.
You’re contributing your time + expertise in exchange for the Energy of Money.
How you value your time + expertise in terms of dollars and cents is totally up to you.
The Money Energy you receive is based on a myriad of elements in your life – where you grew up, the people in your life and what they said to you, what you believe about yourself (and others), your hopes, and your fears.
All of these elements (and more) make up your self-worth. No one else has the right to value you or to judge your prices.
No one else has the right to say that your prices are too high, too low, or too anything.
Only YOU have that right. Only you have the right to value yourself.
And you are priceless. Your time + expertise are priceless.
If you work from the heart, if you desire success, joy, freedom, love, and all the good things in life for yourself…
And you also desire those things for everyone else…
Then what you do is needed in the world. YOU are needed in the world.
Your skills and gifts are needed in the world.
And this means that you need to heal, and share and love and make peace with the act of selling.
You need to accept, embrace and enjoy the Energy of Money that you receive when you share your offerings, and your heart and soul.
You were not born afraid. You were born knowing that you deserve to be here.
Rediscover this truth. Understand that you are priceless and that what you offer is valuable because it is unique because it comes from YOU and there is only one you.
And it’s why selling your offers, services, programs and anything you create is healing.
It’s why selling is love.
