“Hmmm… you’ve put on weight!”
I was happily catching up with everyone over dessert at a recent family gathering when an extended family member strolled over..
Before I could even finish my “hello” they hit me with that look. You know the one — scanning up and down, followed by those dreaded words ☝️
At that moment, all my manifesting knowledge flew right out the window. I was supposed to stay positive, right? To smile and brush it off?
Instead, I felt a wave of anger rise up.
I used to think I had to push away “negative” emotions like anger to manifest effectively. I’d force a smile and try to “raise my vibration” (anyone else tired of hearing that phrase? 😅).
But instead of pushing away my anger, I let myself FEEL it. Instead of trying to transform my anger into fake, toxic positivity, I let myself experience the power of it.
And right there, in the hum of family chatter, I took 1 Healing Breath of Power (experience the 1 Healing Breath practice here – it’s free 🎉)
Here’s something nobody talks about when it comes to manifesting…
Your true power and freedom in becoming a master manifestor is about being true to yourself and that means giving yourself permission to experience your feelings — ALL of your feelings (especially the icky ones 😬)
Here’s the thing…
Feeling your anger doesn’t have to mean you must respond in anger and you don’t have to pretend it didn’t hurt, either.
I’ve found that the most empowering and freeing thing to do is to give yourself permission to feel what you feel knowing that the emotion is valid and real.
I realized that what this extended family member thought about me and what I looked like meant nothing to me. Their opinion carried zero value.
I didn’t speak to that relative for the rest of the evening and after a while I felt my vibrational frequency rise to a higher level, naturally (no “fake toxic” positivity needed!).
Most importantly what they said didn’t stop me from having a great time with everyone else 🥳
That uncomfortable family moment became a catalyst for experiencing something far bigger…
Something that exponentially heightens my ability to manifest — the courage to feel what I feel and show up exactly as I am, as my True Self 🌟
I’m sharing this with you because maybe you’ve been told that certain emotions don’t belong if you’re serious about attracting your desires…
That you need to “get rid” of anger, sadness, or frustration before you can manifest what you want.
But what if those very emotions are trying to guide you toward something more?
What if your anger is pointing you toward your power? What if your sadness is showing you what you truly value? What if your frustration is highlighting where you’re ready for change?
I wonder… what emotions are you saying ‘no’ to that might actually be your biggest manifesting allies in disguise?
