Writing can be a pain in the neck… and it can also be a powerful, transformational experience if you let it 🙂

If you’ve ever written a piece of content or journaled from a place of courage and curiosity you already know that writing can be a deeply healing experience on an emotional and spiritual level.

But did you know that getting words on a physical or digital page can also literally transform you on a physical level?

Writing leads to powerful, positive changes in the body, which can help you raise your overall vibrational frequency and ultimately open the door to the life you’re seeking.

In this way, it’s a beautiful, creative path to boost your manifesting skills and give yourself some body love at the same time.

Not feeling super inspired to get out that journal (or create your next social media post or email sequence for your business)?

Let’s see if I can get that inspiration flowing with these 3 great “body love” reasons to put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard 🙂

You’ll feel less stressed and more peaceful

When you write, your mind is focused on what you are doing in the NOW, and on nothing else. This is the essence of present moment awareness, which dissolves those relentless loops of stressful thoughts that we’re all grappling with on a nonstop basis!

When you keep writing your body’s stress-related cortisol levels start to drop. This leads to an improved immune system and an increased ability to self-heal.

This is especially true with writing by hand, but you can duplicate the same effect by closing all distractions as you type, focusing only on what you’re writing right here, right now.

You’ll feel younger

As your cortisol drops, and you engage more fully with the world, you’ll begin to feel motivated to move more.

And that extra activity will help you loosen up, and get your blood (literally!) flowing.

The result? You’ll feel younger in your body and spirit as you become more vibrant and active.

You’ll feel the joy of mindful awareness

When you write, you’re immersing yourself in the details of what you’re writing about, and you’re focusing on the little things that communicate feelings, concepts, memories, and experiences.

Mentally, you’ll become a little “noticing” machine 🙂

All of that translates over into the physical realm. With those warmed-up “noticing” neurons you can pay close attention to everything around you.

The petals of a rose appear brighter yet more delicate. You start to see the subtle threads of color in your partner’s eyes… all the things you would have missed before.

And when this starts to happen, that innate, genuine joy that arises from being more mindful begins to blossom in your heart and mind.

So love it (or hate it!) writing can be a holistic, always-available “miracle” path to healing and manifesting.

It has magical powers to help raise the health and vibration of your physical body, and unlock hidden potential that could take you to a whole new level of success, abundance, happiness.

It’s what writing has done for me 🙂

So my wish for you today is that you try it. Put pen to paper, fingers to keyboard. Write a sentence or two… or just a few words.

The only rule? Give yourself permission to express what’s in your heart and observe how you feel.

You’ll be surprised at what you find and if you’re not careful… you just might find yourself wanting to write and write and write 🙂
