Creativity on tap. It’s something we’d all love to have, isn’t it? 🙂

If you could access the awe-inspiring, transformational power of creative energy just like that, you’ve pretty much got it made!

Think about it

You’d have no problems coming up with creative million-dollar business ideas, you’d strike “write a book” off your Bucket List (without breaking a sweat!), you’d quickly come up with interesting, imaginative ways to navigate everything from day-to-day problems to major challenges in your life, work and relationships.

I know “creativity on tap” sounds like a fairy tale or a fantasy but what if it’s not?

Here’s the thing…

We all have access to creative energy — or what I like to call the Pure Energy of Creation — at all times and it’s because we come from that energy, we’re made from that energy.

The Pure Energy of Creation is who we are.

The Pure Energy of Creation = The Energy of the Universe = The Energy of Source.

This energy is within us and around us at all times and there are countless ways to connect with it and channel it (people – especially those in magical, mystical traditions – have been doing exactly this for thousands of years).

There’s a method that I love to use to tap into the Pure Energy of Creation and it has to do with symbols or to be more specific, it has to do with a Symbolic Gesture.

First let me explain what a Symbolic Gesture is and why it’s important.

A Symbolic Gesture is any physical action or conscious emotion that you choose and it signals to your subconscious mind and the Universe, that you’re ready to move forward with your intention, whatever that may be.

Here’s what I mean…

Let’s imagine that your intention is to write page after page of beautiful, creative prose or maybe you want to craft powerful, transformational social media content for your business.

Your Symbolic Gesture could be a specific hand posture or Mudra which directs energy flow.

The ancient Hindu practice of placing 2 open palms together is a great example of a Symbolic Gesture. This is used extensively in Yoga where your hands, palms together, are placed against your heart chakra as you say the word Namaste, which can be roughly translated to “the divine in me bows to the divine in you” and signifies that my soul sees your soul.

Your Symbolic Gesture doesn’t have to be a gesture at all.

It could be a word that you say out loud 3 times. In the old days Abracadabra was used as a Symbolic Gesture in magical circles and it’s said to be an ancient Aramaic word that means I create as I speak (don’t you just love that!).

Your personal Symbolic Gesture to call in the Pure Energy of Creation could even be an emotional experience, a symbolic logo or sacred geometry shape that you sketch out on a piece of paper in a couple of seconds or trace on your open palm.

The fun thing about this practice is that you get to create your own Symbolic Gesture when you start to write.

Personally, I find that reflecting on how I want people to feel when they read my words and then allowing that same emotion to flow through me as I write is a powerful Symbolic Gesture that creates beautifully aligned results.

So, if I want my reader to feel inspired when they read my words or when they watch a video, I tune into the feeling of inspiration before I write or get on camera. When I do that, the energy inspiration then naturally flows out from me to the people who read my words or watch me.

As you know, everything is energy…

And when we connect with our intention on a deep, subconscious and energetic level using a Symbolic Gesture as a magnifier, what we’re actually doing is re-patterning energy to flow and fuel our intention and bring it into existence.

It’s how we can connect and channel the Energy of Pure Creation at will

It’s how we can have creativity on tap.

So, what’s your intention and what’s the Symbolic Gesture you’re going to use to bring it into existence? When you decide on one, try it and let me know how it goes 🙂
