When February rolls around each year, we see lots of hullabaloo about Valentine’s Day. 

Some of us adore it. Some of us abhor it. And then there’s those of us who don’t care either way 😄

For most of my life I LOVED Valentine’s Day. Then I went through a phase in my 20s when I hated it because I felt it was all about  – you know – commercialism and codependency…

The overpriced flowers, chocolates, and cards and that unspoken need to be validated by another human – it drove me up the wall (I call that my “skeptical-about-everything” phase) 😬

But I’ve come to realize Valentine’s Day, like so much of what we experience in life,  is what we make of it.

And so for me, these days, Valentine’s Day is a chance to celebrate a very special kind of love.
